Service Description
This appointment is for last minute appointments to book as soon as possible. All appointment times are requests only and these may be rejected or confirmed by the physiotherapist on the day. If an email or text confirmation is not received then you must assume that the appointment time is not possible. Where possible we would always suggest using our planned bookings as this will be confirmed immediately. Your physiotherapist may call to confirm your appointment or give alternatives in this case.
Cancellation Policy
Emergency Physiotherapy Appointment Booking Policy Emergency and last-minute physiotherapy appointments are subject to availability and are charged at an enhanced rate to reflect the short-notice nature of the appointment. Payment: Payment is required on arrival and can be made by cash or card. By booking an emergency appointment, you agree that your payment details may be securely retained for the purpose of processing any applicable no-show or late-cancellation fee. No-Shows & Cancellations: If you fail to attend a confirmed appointment or cancel without the required notice, the full appointment fee may be charged. Please ensure you are aware of the applicable cancellation period when booking. Confirmation: A booking request does not guarantee an appointment. Your appointment is only confirmed once you have received confirmation by email or text message. If you have not received confirmation, please assume that your appointment has not been booked. Clinical Screening & Availability: Emergency appointments are subject to clinical suitability and availability. Your physiotherapist reserves the right to decline or cancel a requested appointment if it is considered unsuitable, cannot be safely provided, or another healthcare service would be more appropriate. No charge will be made in these circumstances. Where appropriate, your physiotherapist may contact you by telephone to discuss your symptoms, screen your requirements, provide appropriate advice, or arrange an alternative appointment. Medical Emergencies: This service is not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a serious or life-threatening medical emergency, please contact the appropriate emergency service (999) or NHS 111 where appropriate. By requesting an emergency physiotherapy appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this booking policy.
